The Stands of... RKC Waalwijk
Supporters and stadiums bring color to the Eredivisie. For many fans, the stadium has become their second home. Whether the sun is shining or it's raining, in good times and bad, hundreds of thousands of supporters gather in the stands every week to cheer for their favorite club. Alongside the clubs, players, and staff, they are all part of Our Football. This season, we're taking a tour of the eighteen fields with some photographers. This week, we present the images from RKC Waalwijk."
The Waalwijk-based club was founded in 1940 and has been playing in Dutch professional football since 1984. RKC Waalwijk has played over 926 matches in the Eredivisie, winning 275 times and scoring 1179 goals. In the Mandemakers Stadion, around 7,000 RKC supporters cheer for their favorite club from the stands in every match.
