Eredivisie to be broadcast live in Japan

The Eredivisie announced today that Japanese football fans will be able to watch all the action from the Netherland’s top-tier football league on pay satellite channel Fujitv NEXT and FOD, starting in Round 22 (from February 16th). The broadcast deal, facilitated by IMG, extends the league's reach to Japanese screens until the end of the 2024-2025 season.

This collaboration emphasizes the Eredivisie’s global appeal and marks a significant step in expanding its reach to new international audiences. The deal sees the league return to Fujitv who previously held the rights between 2016/17 – 2019/20. Fujitv will broadcast up to 156 fixtures over the two seasons.
