Eredivisie Awards 2026: live on YouTube on Monday 25 May

The spotlight that evening will be on the standout performers of the season. The winners of the Eredivisie Player of the Year and the Women’s Eredivisie Player of the Year awards will be announced. Awards will also be presented for the Johan Cruyff Talent of the Year (men’s and women’s), and it will be revealed which players scored the best goals of the season in both competitions.

In addition, the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented for the sixth time. This award honours individuals who have made a significant contribution to Dutch football.

The top scorer awards will also once again be part of the Eredivisie Awards. The winners of the Willy van der Kuijlen Trophy (Eredivisie) and the Eurojackpot Women’s Eredivisie top scorer award will be confirmed once the season has concluded.

The nominees for the various awards will be announced in the coming weeks via the online channels of the Eredivisie, Women’s Eredivisie and ESPN.

The Eredivisie Awards will be presented on Monday 25 May at DeFabrique in Utrecht. The show will be hosted by ESPN presenters Fresia Cousiño Arias and Milan van Dongen. The award ceremony will be broadcast live on YouTube (ESPN) from 20:30.

The Eredivisie Awards are an initiative of the Eredivisie, Women’s Eredivisie and ESPN. The Eredivisie Player of the Year and the Women’s Eredivisie Player of the Year are selected, in collaboration with players’ union VVCS, by the captains of the clubs. In partnership with Coaches Betaald Voetbal, the Johan Cruijff Talent of the Year (men’s and women’s) is chosen by head coaches and national team managers.
