Three new changes to the competition schedule

Last week, we communicated several changes to the competition schedule in collaboration with the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) for matchdays 15 to 21. Today, three more changes are being implemented.

Match change for NAC Breda vs. RKC Waalwijk has been reverted

he match between NAC Breda and RKC Waalwijk has been rescheduled back to Saturday, October 26, after it was previously moved to Sunday, October 27. The change has been reverted at the request of the municipality of Breda and NAC Breda, in consultation with all parties involved.

Changes Saturday 7 December

Additionally, the kickoff times for two matches on Saturday, December 7, have been adjusted. At the request of Go Ahead Eagles, the matches Go Ahead Eagles vs. NEC and Heracles Almelo vs. Fortuna Sittard have swapped start times. In Deventer, Go Ahead Eagles vs. NEC will now kick off at 4:30 PM, while Heracles Almelo vs. Fortuna Sittard will begin at 9:00 PM in Almelo.

Approval by the competition board

League matches can only be rescheduled if the fixture schedule in the Eredivisie permits it, the local authorities of the home club can accommodate the new date/start time, and with the approval of the professional football competition board.
