Taylor Booth is the Eredivisie Player of the Month. The FC Utrecht midfielder performed best in November based on statistics and votes from football fans.
Due to the World Cup in Qatar, only two full premier league rounds were played in November, with only Ajax, Vitesse, Feyenoord and SC Cambuur making three appearances due to rescheduled fixtures. FC Utrecht ended 2022 well, as they beat FC Groningen (2-1) at home, while FC Volendam (0-4) were also no match for the ‘Domstedelingen’.
The former FC Bayern Munich player has been a key member of the Utrecht squad for the last five games and the confidence shown in him is paying off. In November, Booth averaged a shot or created an opportunity every 12 minutes. As a result, he was the Utrecht player with the most goal attempts (5) and chances created (6). With a passing accuracy of 87.9% and two goals, the 21-year-old American played an important role in FC Utrecht's rise.
Booth was voted KPN Man of the Match in both matches in November. The American is the second player from the Domstad to win the Eredivisie Player of the Month award after Adam Maher (October 2019). In addition to a trophy, Booth will also receive an upgraded Eredivisie Player of the Month card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
