Seven clubs provide players for the Eredivisie Team of the Month
The Eredivisie Team of the Month includes two players from AZ, PSV, Feyenoord and FC Twente respectively.
AZ right back Yukinari Sugawara makes the team for an impressive third consecutive month. Joey Veerman, Santiago Giménez, Youri Regeer and Jeffrey de Lange were also selected for the September Team of the Month, while Vangelis Pavlidis and Lutsharel Geertruida were included in August.
Eredivisie Team of the Month for October 2023: Jeffrey de Lange (Go Ahead Eagles), Youri Regeer (FC Twente), Benaissa Benamar (FC Volendam), Lutsharel Geertruida (Feyenoord), Yukinari Sugawara (AZ), Joey Veerman (PSV), Luuk Brouwers (sc Heerenveen), Manfred Ugalde (FC Twente), Santiago Giménez (Feyenoord), Johan Bakayoko (PSV) and Vangelis Pavlidis (AZ).
Eredivisie Awards
The Eredivisie Player of the Month, Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month and Eredivisie Team of the Month are selected on the basis of statistics (Opta) and votes from football fans (KPN Man of the Match). These criteria also play a role in establishing the shortlist for the Eredivisie Player of the Year and Johan Cruyff Talent of the Year awards. These awards, along with the Azerion Vrouwen Eredivisie awards, are presented during the Eredivisie Awards ceremony.

The selection process for the Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month is organised by Eredivisie CV, in partnership with ESPN, the Cruyff Foundation and the VriendenLoterij (FriendsLottery).
