Seven clubs provide players for Eredivisie Team of the Month (May)
The Eredivisie Team of the Month in May is made up of players from seven different clubs. Ajax, PSV, FC Twente and N.E.C. each supply two players, followed by Vitesse, Sparta Rotterdam and Willem II with one player each.
The complete Eredivisie Team of the Month for May: Yvon Mvogo (PSV), Gijs Smal (FC Twente), Souffian El Karouani (N.E.C.), Wessel Dammers (Willem II), Bart van Rooij (N.E.C.), Edson Álvarez (Ajax), Ritsu Doan (PSV), Dimitris Limnios (FC Twente), Loïs Openda (Vitesse), Lennart Thy (Sparta Rotterdam) and Brian Brobbey (Ajax).

The Eredivisie Player of the Month and Johan Cruijff Talent of the Month Awards are based on statistics (StatsPerform) and votes from football fans, cast via the KPN Man of the Match vote (ESPN). These elements - along with votes from the 18 captains and 18 coaches - also count towards the Eredivisie Player of the Year and Johan Cruijff Talent of the Year Awards, which are presented during the Eredivisie Awards at the end of the season 2021/22.
