In addition to the Player of the Year awards, other significant prizes will be presented: the Johan Cruijff Talent of the Year (for both Eredivisie and Azerion Women’s Eredivisie), Goal of the Year, and the Eredivisie Lifetime Achievement Award.
The winners of the top scorer awards have already been announced: Vangelis Pavlidis and Luuk de Jong both receive the Willy van der Kuijlen Trophy for 2023/24. Both strikers, from AZ and PSV respectively, scored 29 league goals each, making them joint top scorers of the Eredivisie. Tessa Wullaert (Fortuna Sittard) scored the most goals in the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie with 26 goals.
Additionally, on September 2, the 'Voetbal Geeft Prize' will be awarded, an initiative by the VriendenLoterij in collaboration with Eredivisie CV and ESPN. This competition encourages Eredivisie clubs to develop new, impactful social projects. The nominees for this award are Excelsior Rotterdam, FC Twente, and RKC Waalwijk.
