The match dates and kick-off times for matchrounds 21 through 32 in the Eredivisie season 2023/24 have been determined by the professional football competition board. The exact schedule will be finalized once it is known which clubs will still be participating in a European club competition after the winter break.
Local authorities had until Thursday, December 21, to indicate any insurmountable issues in the draft schedule, but no changes resulted. The exact match dates and kick-off times for matchdays 17 through 20 had already been established earlier. Matchweeks 33 and 34 will be played at the usual times.
Restart
The Eredivisie resumes after the winter break with matchweek 17 on Friday, January 12. RKC Waalwijk vs. Heracles Almelo kicks off at 20:00 in the Mandemakers Stadion.

FORMATION
In addition to the sporting aspects, when creating the professional football competition schedules, consideration has been given to the numerous requests and challenges from local authorities, clubs, supporters, and ESPN submitted in the lead-up to this season. Throughout the process, the schedule is discussed with the professional football competition board, the Fans Counsil (Supporterscollectief Nederland), the Central Players' Council (Centrale Spelersraad), the Central Coaches' Council (Coaches Betaald Voetbal), ESPN, and all clubs.
