Jakub (20) thrives at Team 12 of RKC Waalwijk

Jakub, a 20-year-old from Poland, moved to the Netherlands a year and a half ago. Integrating into a new country and finding work proved to be a challenge. Fortunately, through the local council, Jakub found his way to Team 12—an initiative by RKC Waalwijk and the RKC Foundation that supports young people distanced from the labour market. Oskar Zawada, a fellow Pole, put Jakub in the spotlight.

Team 12

Team 12, a programme run by the RKC Foundation and made possible by the Municipality of Waalwijk and the Province of North Brabant, offers young people like Jakub the opportunity to gain work experience in an inspiring environment. Within the club, they focus on personal development and learn essential workplace skills. Under the guidance of a job coach, participants receive the support they need to grow and realise their potential.
