Guus Til named Player of the Month for November
Guus Til has been named Eredivisie Player of the Month for November. The PSV forward stood out based on Opta statistics.
Til has been in outstanding form for PSV in recent weeks. The attacking midfielder unexpectedly found himself playing as a striker at the start of October and has excelled in that role. His performances gave head coach Peter Bosz every reason to continue deploying the 27-year-old as the focal point of PSV’s attack throughout November.
Six goals from 1.7 xG
Guus Til scored six goals across the last four matchweeks, more than Jizz Hornkamp (5), Noah Naujoks (4) and any other player in the Eredivisie. Remarkably, his Expected Goals for November totalled just 1.7, meaning he outperformed his xG by more than four goals (+4.3). Til scored twice with his head and four times with his right foot.
At this scoring pace, Til found the net once every 52 minutes, registering at least one goal in all four matches. In total, he attempted 14 shots, with seven on target (a 50% accuracy rate). He also recorded 30 touches inside the opposition penalty area.
Til’s scoring streak helped PSV defeat Fortuna Sittard (5–2), AZ (1–5), NAC Breda (0–1) and FC Volendam (3–0). With twelve points from four matches, PSV currently top the Eredivisie, holding a six-point lead over second-placed Feyenoord.
His six November goals bring him to 10 league goals this season, making him PSV’s leading scorer and keeping him close behind Ayase Ueda (14 goals) in the race for the Willy van der Kuylen Trophy.

Second monthly award
This is Guus Til’s second Player of the Month award. He previously won in September 2021, then playing for Feyenoord as an attacking midfielder. In this month’s voting, he finished ahead of contenders such as Jizz Hornkamp (Heracles Almelo) and Joël Drommel (Sparta Rotterdam).
