Feyenoord ended PSV Eindhoven's perfect start to the Dutch season on Sunday, beating the Eredivisie leaders 2-1 to maintain their own 100 per cent home record in the league - seven wins from as many games at Stadion Feijenoord.
PSV, who had won their first 13 league games of the season, conceded twice in the space of five first half minutes - Nicolai Jorgensen and then Sam Larsson beating goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet with shots from outside the penalty area.
Steven Bergwijn halved the deficit in the 72nd minute and then had a chance to equalise just two minutes later, but Feyenoord goalkeeper Justin Bijlow made a timely block.
Referee Serdar Gozubuyuk then brought to a halt to proceedings as both sets of players battled for the rebound as a second ball had been thrown on to the pitch, which enraged the visitors.
