ESPN NL achieves a record with its best week ever

ESPN Netherlands has had its best week ever. From October 28 to November 3, the ESPN channels reached nearly 5 million people. The standout event was the top match Feyenoord – Ajax on Wednesday, October 30. The Klassieker attracted an average of 1.7 million viewers and a remarkable market share of 37.3%.

Super Saturday

ESPN's market share for the past week was 5.8%, making it the fifth most-watched channel in the Netherlands. It wasn't just Feyenoord – Ajax that surpassed the 1,000,000 viewer mark. On 'Super Saturday' (November 2), an average of 1.1 million people watched Ajax – PSV, resulting in a market share of 26.3%. This match was followed by Feyenoord – AZ, with an average of 667,000 viewers (market share of 15.5%).

The mentioned figures are from the National Media Research (NMO) for the 6+ category. The numbers may change up to 7 days after broadcast based on delayed viewing.
