Eredivisie Team of the Month includes players from nine teams

Ajax (both individual award winners) and PSV (Sergiño Dest and Olivier Boscagli) were the main suppliers. Players from AZ, PEC Zwolle, FC Twente, N.E.C. Nijmegen, RKC Waalwijk, Feyenoord and FC Utrecht were also selected for their performances over the previous month.

Eredivisie Team of the Month for December 2023: Vasilis Barkas (FC Utrecht), Sergiño Dest (PSV), Olivier Boscagli (PSV), Lutsharel Geertruida (Feyenoord), Yassin Oukili (RKC Waalwijk), Benjamin Tahirović (Ajax), Ferdy Druijf (PEC Zwolle), Sem Steijn (FC Twente), Elayis Tavsan (N.E.C. Nijmegen), Vangelis Pavlidis (AZ) and Brian Brobbey (Ajax).

The Eredivisie Player of the Month, Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month and Eredivisie Team of the Month are selected on the basis of statistics (Opta) and votes from football fans (KPN Man of the Match). These criteria also play a role in establishing the shortlist for the Eredivisie Player of the Year and Johan Cruyff Talent of the Year awards. These awards, along with the Azerion Women Eredivisie awards, are presented during the Eredivisie Awards ceremony in September.

The selection of the Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month is organised by Eredivisie CV, in partnership with ESPN, the Cruyff Foundation and the VriendenLoterij (FriendsLottery).
