AZ and PSV main suppliers of the Eredivisie Team of the Month

For the second consecutive month, Yukinari Sugawara secured a spot in the lineup, alongside his teammates Jordy Clasie and Riechedly Bazoer. PSV also delivers three standout players in Luuk de Jong, Joey Veerman and Noa Lang. Feyenoord Rotterdam (Giménez and Hancko) and FC Twente (Regeer and Steijn) both have two players represented.

The Eredivisie Team of the Month for September consists of the following eleven players: Jeffrey de Lange (Go Ahead Eagles), Youri Regeer (FC Twente), Dávid Hancko (Feyenoord Rotterdam), Riechedly Bazoer (AZ Alkmaar), Yukinari Sugawara (AZ Alkmaar), Joey Veerman (PSV Eindhoven), Jordy Clasie (AZ Alkmaar), Noa Lang (PSV Eindhoven), Sem Steijn (FC Twente), Santiago Giménez (Feyenoord Rotterdam), and Luuk de Jong (PSV Eindhoven).

The Eredivisie Player of the Month, Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month, and the Eredivisie Team of the Month are selected based on statistics (Opta) and votes from football fans (KPN Man of the Match). These criteria also play a role in the shortlist for the Eredivisie Player of the Year and Johan Cruyff Talent of the Year awards. These awards, along with those in the Azerion Women's Eredivisie, are presented each season at the Eredivisie Awards.

The Eredivisie Player of the Month election is an initiative of the Eredivisie CV in collaboration with ESPN and EA SPORTS FC™ 24. The Johan Cruyff Talent of the Month election is organized by the Eredivisie CV in partnership with ESPN, the Cruyff Foundation, and the Friends Lottery (VriendenLoterij).
