Ajax provides most players for the Team of the Month February
With four players, Ajax has provided the most players for the Eredivisie Team of the Month. It is remarkable that AZ does not have a single player in the team. Despite being the only team to win all four matches, no player stood out in the statistics last month.
The full Eredivisie Team of the Month: Yanick van Osch (Fortuna Sittard), Bjorn Meijer (FC Groningen), Lisandro Martínez (Ajax), Jurriën Timber (Ajax), Mauro Júnior (PSV), Orkun Kökcü (Feyenoord), Steven Berghuis (Ajax), Joey Veerman (PSV), Daishawn Redan (PEC Zwolle), Sébastien Haller (Ajax) and Luis Sinisterra (Feyenoord).
About the voting
The Eredivisie Player of the Month and Johan Cruijff Talent of the Month Awards are based on statistics (StatsPerform) and votes from football fans, cast via the KPN Man of the Match vote (ESPN). These elements also count towards the Eredivisie Player of the Year and Johan Cruijff Talent of the Year Awards, which are presented in a live broadcast on ESPN at the end of the season 2021/22.
