8 clubs provide players for the Eredivisie Team of the Month for December
Eight Eredivisie clubs contribute players to the Eredivisie Team of the Month for December. AZ (with both monthly award winners), PSV, and Willem II are the primary contributors, each supplying two players to the team.
Noa Lang and Richard Ledezma stood out for PSV, while Ringo Meerveld and Erik Schouten impressed for Willem II. The 33-year-old Schouten made a remarkable comeback for the Tilburg club after months of injury struggles. Oskar Zawada (RKC Waalwijk) ranked highly in December, scoring four goals in three matches. Left-back Vasilios Zagaritis (Almere City) caught the eye, particularly for his attacking contributions, with eight successful dribbles and six chances created. The team is rounded out by Oliver Edvardsen, Zidane Iqbal, and Jasper Schendelaar.

These criteria also factor into the selection of the Eredivisie Player of the Year and Johan Cruyff Talent of the Year awards, which are presented at the end of the season during the Eredivisie Awards. The monthly selections are an initiative of the Eredivisie CV in collaboration with ESPN, the Johan Cruyff Foundation, and the VriendenLoterij.
