More than football campaign week
The power of football is enormous, including off the field. All 34 clubs from the Eredivisie and Keuken Kampioen Divisie organise projects on a weekly basis to get people literally and figuratively moving – for promoting healthy lifestyles, combating loneliness or helping people find work. With the #meerdanvoetbal (#morethanfootball) campaign, we highlight the value of football in society.
Campaign
In order to continue fulfilling and expanding this role in society, Dutch professional football organised an online auction from Monday, 6 July to Sunday, 12 July during More than Football Week (Meer dan Voetbal-week). All 34 professional clubs from the Eredivisie and Keuken Kampioen Divisie participated by providing unique items and packages. The proceeds of the football auction went exclusively to the social departments of the clubs so that they could continue their good work.
